November marks an important step in this charity’s 120 year history. The
Sheffield Federation for School Sports and Aspire Creative have developed a
comprehensive new website, containing all the resources and information need
for children, parents and organizers involved in School Sport in the Sheffield
area.
www.sfss.co.uk is now live, and provides
a range of features for all involved. The site was built to help the numerous
volunteers who spend their free time organising and overseeing school events
in the region. Without their help and devotion to all manner of sports, much
of today’s younger talent would not get the training, advice and competition
they need to become tomorrow’s stars.
Aspire created a fantastic new look for the Federation, and used motivational
quotations to inspire and engage visitors to the site. A major part of the project
was also to create a new Content Management System to allow the multitude of
users post fixtures, results and information on the site. As you’ll see
from the live site, the system is really working and our young hopefuls can
now log on to see how they are doing in their chosen sports career!
